Helal Akbar Chowdhery Babor the courageous leader of Bangladesh Awami leader was born in Chattogram village, on 2nd February 1974. He has four brothers and four sisters. His mother’s name is Begum Rizia Chowdhury and his father’s name is Jahangir Alam Chowdhury. He acquired his H.S.C. from the Omargani Muslim Education Society (M.E.S.) College in 1993 after passing his S.S.C. exams at Municipal Model High School in 1991.
As a representative of Bangabandhu’s ideals, he started his political career in 1988 by being appointed general secretary of the Nandankanan Union Chhatra League. He was chosen as the Omar Gani MES College and Bishab Vidyalaya College’s general secretary in 1997. The Chittagong Metropolitan Chhatra League was created by the current Prime Minister, Sheikh Hasina, in 1999. He was appointed the Jubo League’s deputy financial secretary in 2003.
Helal Akbar Chowdhury participated in many movements in favor of the entire nation. He is a social worker who works selflessly for the common people. Babar oversaw the street demonstration in 1989 as the anti-tyranny Ershad movement started to take shape under the guidance of proven leader ABM Mohiuddin Chowdhury as well as other senior leaders. Alongside all this social welfare work, Babor is mostly known as the creator of the Corona resistance booth. Likewise AtM booth, the corona resistance booth is very easily accessible. Getting impressed by this idea Information technology minister Junaid Ahmed Palak inaugurated the booth in many places. On June 26, he opened this corona prevention station in his district with an eye toward the general public’s health protection.
This booth distributed items for corona prevention such as masks and hand sanitizer and it helped to aware people for fighting against the Coronavirus. In addressing this worldwide epidemic, Babor said, “I think everyone should be on the side of the common man.”
