The community has rallied to support the project. Mona, a mother of two young children, walked 46 miles to raise money for the project and even went down the slide with Isaac.
The park is wheelchair accessible and includes a ground-level merry-go-round. It is intended for children ages five to 12 and also features swings, a music area, and a central garden.
