Flor Del Desierto
After winning a baking competition with sotol as their secret ingredient, three friends from Chihuahua, Mexico, went on a mission to find the best sotol. The journey took them from the Coyame Desert to the Mountains of Madera, and ultimately to the Flor Del Desierto. This artisan sotol is a blend of parts of Northern Mexico and the southern desert.
Sotol
Sotol Flora del Deserto is a mexican liquor made with 100 percent Dasylirion Leiophyllum, also known as sereque silvestre. It is distilled with fresh rattlesnake meat and has an earthy, vegetal flavor. It is produced by different producers in different regions. The unique terroir of this spirit is also evident in its taste.
Sotol Flora del Desierta was first produced in 2011 in the Sierra de Chihuahua region after winning a cooking contest. The flavor of this spirit varies according to the master sotolero who creates it, and it has also won several awards, including the Gran Oro award from the National Mezcal Academy. Cascabel
